Amouranth and Indiefoxx banned video trending on Twitter, Reddit and Instagram. Popular Twitch streamers Amoranth and IndieFoxx recently get banned from Twitch when they have decided to call off the weekend. However, their “time out” was not voluntary, as both were banned on the streaming platform a few hours ago.
Kaitlyn Michelle Siragusa and Jenelle Dagres, who is popular on Twitch with names of Amoranth and IndieFox, were the cause of Twitch bans after constantly streaming about adult ASMR content.

As we all know Twitch has huge restrictions about the ASMR stream. Now, they started cracking down the ASMR streams by just their looks, and it all started with banning two of the biggest names in the industry Amouranth and Indiefoxx. Both have over four million followers who view their content.
But the question being asked here is why two of ASMR’s most popular streamers were banned?
Amouranth and Indiefoxx Banned by Twitch for ASMR streams Video
The streamers like Amouranth and Indiefoxx were started a “ASMR meta” content to gain popularity and revenue.
However, this is generally not a problem, as Twitch is open to all. But it takes away from streamers using ASMR tags, such as reading, whispering, tapping nails, etc.
Amouranth and Indiefoxx, among many others, started to abuse this opportunity to gain many views and popularity, which result was costing less time and actual ASMR content creators.
Where this may create a division of opinion about whether Twitch should be policing it, their ban results from abusing the platform’s privilege rather than breaking the rules.
Given how the ASMR meta has evolved over time, tapping into it under the guise of pseudo-ASMR material builds conflicts with platform parameters.
However it is not confirmed yet whether the ban is certainly not permanent, popular streamers like Amouranth and Indiefoxx will have to go back to other suitable categories or face further restrictions in the future.
In short, producing content was never a big issue. But they started piggybacking on the ASMR meta for some extra views and revenue.
What does the Twitch community think about the bans?
The reactions of people on Twitter are divided. Some felt the restrictions were unjust, where rest of the users declared that they should not call themselves content creators at all.

Whatever the situation, Twitch will have to better define the parameters and make major rules regarding similar issues.
