CBSE Exam 2021: Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 dates, Syllabus, Marking Scheme?

CBSE Board Exam 2021: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Sanam Bharadwaj also discussed the datasheet or schedule for Class X, XII in 2021. He said that the board and stakeholders are still working. We will soon announce the details.


Controller of Examination of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Sanam Bhardwaj held a meeting a few days back with select principals of CBSE affiliated schools and deliberated on the upcoming CBSE Exam 2021. Bhardwaj, who confirmed that the exams of Class X, XII will be conducted, stating that practicals will be conducted only after the resumption of normal classes or schools.

In that meeting sit looks like, Bhardwaj also discussed a datasheet or examination schedule for Class X, XII. He adds on the recent interview that the board and stakeholders are still working and as of now there is no clear clarity on this we will update you soon. However, he mentioned that students can expect their examination schedule over time. It is expected that the board official did not allow the more intervening days between the exams. CBSE hopes to give ‘ample time for preparation’ to the students of class XII.

Will Syllabus Be Decreased?

Also, he is talking about the syllabus, he said that there are no chances to reduce the syllabus further by Board. Already the board has reduced the syllabus by 30 per cent. On the exam pattern, he said that the typology for the question papers will be similar to the CBSE sample papers like all years, which students can accept through the official website.


What About The Marking Scheme?

The marking scheme should follow the same pattern which follows all the earlier years. It is clear that there will be no change in the marking scheme. The board will follow the previous 80+ 20 formats. Where 80 per cent is devoted to theory paper and 20 for practical or internal assessment.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is yet to decide the dates of conducting board examinations in 2021, including practical ones. If students are unable to do practical in classes before the exams, then the options for practical exams will be explored.
